Membership terms & conditions

  • 1. The Agreement: I agree to abide by the full Terms and Conditions of Membership as outlined in this agreement and the most recent edition of the Club Rules. Only if my membership is current and fully paid up can I redeem my sessions.
  • 2. Termination: I may cancel my agreement and receive a full refund within 7 days of the purchase date if I have not used any of the packages.
  • 3. Membership Suspension: If I am unable to attend my sessions due to illness or injury, I can request that my membership be suspended for one month.
  • 4. Session/ class booking: If you book a PT or a group class, you will be charged the full session rate if you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice. Sessions are non-refundable.
  • 5. Defaulting payments & charges: My Club will contact me if my bank fails to make an auto payment from my account. Missed payments may result in a late fee and the suspension of my membership. Unpaid arrears may be referred to a debt collection agency by the Club.
  • 6. Privacy Notice: By clicking submit, I agree and accept that the Club and I AM ALPHA FITNESS may collect, process, store, and/or use the personal data I provide in order to provide me with the services outlined in my membership agreement. I AM ALPHA FITNESS, as the person in charge of the data collected in this form, may use the information in accordance with the privacy policy. I AM ALPHA FITNESS is satisfied that adequate safeguards are in place to protect my rights and freedoms in relation to the processing of my data.
  • 7. Payment Confirmation: You confirm that any card or payment account you use to make a Booking is yours or that you have authorization to make such payment from the owner of the card or payment account.
  • 8. Payment Validation: The card issuer conducts validation and authorization checks on all credit/debit card holders. When you make a Booking, you agree that payment pre-authorisation checks in the amount of the Service Fee may be performed on our behalf. If the issuer of your card or the provider of the payment service you are using refuses to authorize payment, we will not accept your Booking (or, if already accepted, we will notify you that your Booking has been cancelled), and we will not be liable for any delay or non-performance of the Service Provider Services.
  • 9. Check-in Requirement: You are required to check in every time you meet with your trainer. Failure to do so will still be counted as a completed session.
  • 10. Commitment Period: This is a 1-month commitment, and you cannot cancel until after the first 30 days.
  • 11. DECLARATION: We ask that you make your own decisions to train with us based on your health. Upon joining the Club and during your time as a member, we ask you to declare that:
    a) I understand that I must spend time familiarizing myself with the instructions posted in the Club and on the fitness equipment regarding the safe use of the Club's fitness equipment and classes. If I decide that I need help using the fitness equipment or classes, I will make an appointment with a qualified trainer who will teach me how to use the Club's fitness equipment and classes safely and effectively.
    b) I will decide if I have a medical condition that requires advice from my own medical advisor before embarking on an exercise program, class, or session provided by the Trainer.
